What this tool does
- XLSX, XLS, CSV and TSV — and multi-sheet workbooks, with a checkbox per sheet
- Fits the page — columns scaled to the paper width so nothing is cut off, instead of a table running off the edge
- Repeating header row — column titles reprinted at the top of every page of a long table
- Page setup — A4 or Letter, portrait or landscape, with a scale control
- Sheet titles and page numbers — optional, so a printed stack stays navigable
Why Excel's own export is so often wrong
Printing a spreadsheet is the classic PDF disaster: columns split across pages, the header row appearing only once, and half an empty sheet padded out with blank paper. That happens because Excel prints the page setup rather than the data.
This tool works the other way round. It reads the used range of each sheet, measures the real content, then fits the columns to the paper you chose and repeats the header. The result is a table that reads like a document — and because the file is parsed in your browser, a spreadsheet full of salaries or customer records never leaves your machine.
Why convert
- Send figures to someone who should read them, not edit them
- Attach a report to an email where the recipient may not have Excel
- Print a long table without the columns falling off the page
- Archive a snapshot of a sheet that is still changing
Frequently asked questions
Are my spreadsheets uploaded anywhere?
No — the workbook is parsed and the PDF built in your browser. Nothing is transmitted, which matters for a sheet of payroll or customer data.
Are formulas or their results exported?
The results. A PDF is a printed page, so what you see in the cells is what you get — the same as printing from Excel.
Is cell formatting preserved?
Values, number formatting and the table grid are. Cell fills, custom fonts and conditional formatting colours are not carried across in this version.
What if my table is very wide?
Choose landscape and let the fit-to-width option scale it, or lower the scale manually. Very wide sheets are far more readable in landscape.
Can I convert only one sheet?
Yes — every sheet in the workbook gets a checkbox; tick only the ones you want.
